Multi-Selection, Copy, Paste, and Bulk Editing
Select several scene objects in order, duplicate or copy them as a group, and apply supported bulk changes as one reversible operation.
Filmstrip supports ordered multi-selection across the Scene View and Hierarchy. Group operations preserve relative object order and enter history as one authoring transaction.
Build a selection
- Select the first object normally.
- Ctrl-click additional objects to toggle them into or out of the selection.
- Use the Hierarchy or Scene View to confirm the selected group and its order.
- Apply a supported grouped command.
Supported grouped work
- Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V copy and paste the selected objects as one group.
- Ctrl+D duplicates the selected group.
- Bulk activation and visibility changes.
- Bulk tag additions or removals.
- Bulk transform adjustments supported by the multi-selection controls.
- Batch deletion with restoration of object order and selection on undo.
Fresh objects on redo
Duplicated objects are recreated from serialized snapshots. Redo creates valid fresh objects instead of trying to revive runtime instances that were already removed.
