Project Settings and Project Roots
Configure project identity, entry scene, window size, runtime presentation, transitions, defeat recovery, and safe opening of another project.
Project Settings edits the versioned project metadata that identifies and launches the current game. It also gathers the project-level presentation settings that should remain consistent across scenes.
Versioned project configuration
- Game Title and Publisher.
- Project Version.
- Entry Scene.
- Windows x64 build target.
- Window Width and Window Height.
- Scene transition style and duration.
- Party-defeat policy: Return to Last Save Point or Retry from Before Combat.
Runtime presentation
- Select the project art-grid profile: Retro 16, Standard 32, or Detailed 64.
- Select the project runtime UI theme.
- Keep these choices project-owned while normal window resizing remains a runtime or operating-system concern.
Opening another project
The Project Root area can browse to another Filmstrip project, validate it, and open it in a new editor process. The current editor remains tied to its original project graph.
Undoable settings
Accepted Project Settings changes are written through the persistent authoring history. Undo and redo restore complete validated settings snapshots instead of partially changing individual fields.
